Life Harvest Assembly (LHA), founded in 2003 under the visionary leadership of Pastor Raymond Yap, stands as a beacon of faith and positive change. The inception of LHA can be traced back to Pastor Raymond’s profound calling to connect with the spiritually lost, a divine inspiration that profoundly shaped the church’s formation. Co-founders Pastors May and Daphne played pivotal roles, contributing unique perspectives and strengths that laid the sturdy foundation of LHA.

The decision to establish LHA was driven by a multitude of factors, including the noble aim of providing a sanctuary for individuals in search of spiritual renewal. The name “Life Harvest Assembly” emerged through earnest prayer, embodying the church’s mission to form a community dedicated to harvesting souls into God’s kingdom, as inspired by John 4:35. Recognizing the linguistic diversity within the congregation, services are conducted in both English and Cantonese, fostering inclusivity among the church’s diverse families..

In 2005, LHA acquired a property in Taman Miharja, paving the way for the church’s outreach to Myanmar refugees. This outreach led to the establishment of a Myanmar Mission Church in 2006. The church’s commitment to community service was further exemplified in 2008 with the creation of a Myanmar Refugee Learning Centre for refugee children. Additionally, an affiliated Myanmar Bible School was established in collaboration in the year 2011 with Advantage College, IPHC, USA.

As LHA progresses, the pastors emphasize the importance of staying true to the vision and call of God. The commitment to reaching various communities and nurturing growth among believers remains at the forefront. LHA continues to serve as a testament to the transformative power of faith, a community committed to reaching out to those in need, and making disciples for the Lord.
