Good Friday Service – 29th March 2024
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
The Good Friday service is a solemn and reflective gathering in Christian tradition that commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ on the cross. This gathering encourages deep reflection on the sacrifice He made for humanity and includes elements such as Bible readings, hymns, and prayers that highlight His sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.
The atmosphere during the service serves as a touching reminder of Jesus’ love and self-sacrifice, prompting believers to reflect on the gravity of sin, the depth of God’s mercy, and the hope found in His resurrection, which is celebrated on Easter Sunday.
